The National Institute for Health Development (NIHD) is a multidisciplinary governmental R&D institution that conducts public health research, compiles and publishes national health statistics, develops and implements evidence-based health intervention, promotion and treatment programs and activities, and provides continuous training in the public health field. NIHD relies on scientific knowledge and evidence to direct the priorities of the public health developments and to determine the emphasis.

Role in CoDiet

Our role in the CoDiet project is related to the in-depth analysis of policies for development of novel policy scenarios and implementation of new policies to improve diets in Estonia (among six EU countries).
